My life as a Digital Nomad in Australia

I'm walking through the streets of Brunswick Heads. A woman is passing by, singing out loud on her bicycle. When I cross a bridge I see a boy leaning on the edge; "you jump first",  says the boy to his friend. They jump and scream out of joy. I look at Sandy and say: "this place makes me so happy. The locals here are just so relaxed". With our laptops under our arm, we're heading home...

Roadtrip Broome – Darwin

As you could read in my previous post, I've been working for a tour operator for the last few weeks. The trip was intense, but amazing! What I learned it that you don't need much in life to be happy. Our tour guide, for example, doesn't even own shoes. He lives without a house, there is no internet during the trip and no electronic entertainment to distract yourself. He says; all you need is in life a group of people,...

Aftermovie of my trip in West Australië

It's half past six. Time to hit the road. Together with a group of backpackers, I'm traveling to Darwin, where it's nice and warm. Again I got asked to film an after movie for a tour-operator. The first two night were pretty cold, but it didn't matter. Everyone was in a good mood for this new adventure. It felt so good to work and live in the rhythm of nature. Waking up during an amazing sunrise and going to bed...

Working for musicans in Cairns

For the last few weeks, I stayed over at a great house in Cairns. Well actually at Trinity Beach, which is quite far outside of the city center. Most of the backpackers start or end their trip in Cairns along the East Coast. I found my host this time through Sandy Hauser, who also lives in this house. Helping out by making music videos I didn’t meet Sandy before but we were following each other on Facebook for a while. She came...
